Planes in Dubai!

If you like planes, you have to visit the website of Interactive Media.

They have a range of quicktime movies online featuring the Dubai 2005 Air Show with images of F16, F15 and A-10 fighter planes and various other related panoramas!
VR Photography is often used to show fancy houses, interiors, cars... but it's also a great medium for documentary photography that makes you think and see...

Make sure to visit these panoramas made by Mickael Therer who got the opportunity to follow MSF (Doctors Without Borders) missions in Mali :

I've been searching for panoramas related to WW1 and I managed to find a few!

First of all a post in the Mickael Therer's blog : 360day : The War to end all Wars.
Mickael Therer is also the man behind Panoramas of World War II Landmarks.

Secondly a selection of old panoramic images (viewable in java) on the The Heritage of the Great War site.

This area is very important for the brick industry that dominated this region for about a century.

In this article in Make: somebody explains how to connect LCD goggles to an Ipod Video to turn it into a VR solution often seen in comics and science fiction movies!
And it does seem to work!!!

I do have an Ipod but unfortunately an older non-video model!
So other amazing DIY tips are certainly welcome!
