The new version of Autopano, now called Autopano Pro, has been released yesterday.
At the moment the beta version/RC is available with a bit of limitations (no fisheye support etc.) for windows.
New versions for Mac, Linux and with fish-eye support will appear soon!
It was a surprise that instead of a command tool to generate controlpoints it's now a full automatic stitcher!
Autopano Pro detects your panoramas, stitches and blends. All using one program and with a fancy interface!
There is even HDR support! Fantastic news for landscape and interiors!
Automatic control point generation is now supported natively by the following programs : PTgui, Stitcher, PTMac (alpha version) and Autopano Pro! (Don't shoot me if I forgot a few!)
Auopano Pro is also priced below Stitcher so that's certainly a good thing!
Well, I'm using a fish-eye lens so I have to wait for newer versions! I'm also looking forward to testing the Mac version.
